What's Happening?
Flore Café, located within Sisters Thai at Capital One Center in Tysons, Virginia, has introduced a new seasonal high tea experience called 'Summer in Provence.' This event, which began on June 6, 2026, transforms the café into a setting reminiscent of
the South of France, complete with a 14-course menu inspired by the region's culinary traditions. The experience is designed to evoke the lavender fields of Gordes and Valensole, featuring a color palette of indigos, purples, yellows, and silver-sage. The menu includes savory dishes like Lavender-Infused Vichyssoise and Olivier Lobster Salad, as well as sweets such as Mariage Frères Opera Blue Tea Crème Brûlée and Lavender-Hued Madeleines. The high tea is complemented by a selection of premium teas from the Paris-based Mariage Frères, and a special beverage, the Provence 75, which includes botanical gin, lavender syrup, and sparkling wine. Reservations are required for this exclusive weekend event.
