Columbia's Tap Club, located on the second floor of the 916 S. Wabash Ave. building, provides a welcoming environment for students interested in tap dancing, regardless of their experience level. The club, led by junior musical theatre major Mollie Holbrook,
meets every Friday and is open to all students. Holbrook, who has been tap dancing since she was five, discovered the club through a New Student Connections event and has been an active participant since its inception. The club's activities include warm-ups, learning choreography, and filming performances for their Instagram page. Themed dance sessions, such as a recent 'Bohemian Rhapsody' performance, are a regular feature, offering both beginner-friendly and advanced sessions to accommodate all skill levels.
