What's Happening?
Loewe, the luxury fashion house founded in 1846, is celebrating its 180th anniversary. The brand, known for its leather goods, has launched a global campaign to commemorate this milestone. The campaign, photographed by Talia Chetrit, features cultural
and creative figures such as Julia Garner and Sissy Spacek. Loewe's history is highlighted through an animated short film narrated by Antonio Banderas, which traces the brand's origins from a small leather workshop in Madrid to its current status as a prestigious luxury house. The campaign also includes a reinterpretation of Loewe's iconic bags, such as the Amazona 180, a modern take on the original 1975 design. The celebration extends to a capsule collection available from June 3, featuring ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods with lion motifs, symbolizing the brand's heritage.
Why It's Important?
Loewe's 180th anniversary celebration underscores the brand's enduring influence in the luxury fashion industry. By blending heritage with innovation, Loewe continues to appeal to a diverse audience, reinforcing its position as a leader in luxury fashion.
