Flexiv, a company specializing in general-purpose robotics, is set to present an exclusive preview of its next-generation robotics portfolio at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Vienna, Austria, from June 1-5. The event
will feature two groundbreaking robotic platforms that highlight new benchmarks in tactile intelligence and modular adaptability. Flexiv's sales director for Europe, Thomas Zandes, emphasized the significance of ICRA as a premier global forum for transformative robotics research and development. The preview will include a next-generation, force-controlled, touch-sensitive robotic arm designed for complex, human-centric environments, featuring seven degrees of freedom and advanced whole-body touch sensitivity. Additionally, a highly customizable modular robot platform will be showcased, demonstrating the scalability of the new Flexiv ecosystem. This system includes two 7-DOF tactile arms, a computer vision-enabled head, a force-sensitive waist, and an integrated autonomous mobile robot base.
