The Oliver Ames High School boys cross country team has achieved a significant milestone by winning the Division 1C state championship. Under the guidance of coaches Kyle Sousa and Troy Kent, the team also clinched its sixth straight Davenport title and extended its regular-season win streak to 32, having not lost a dual meet since 2019. The team excelled at the Hockomock League Championship, scoring 27 points, significantly ahead of the second-place team. At the MIAA Division 1C Championships, the team overcame an early deficit to win by four points, with standout performances from athletes like Landon
Sarney and Devon McStowe. The season concluded with Sarney winning the Division 1 race at the MIAA Division 1 Meet of Champions, becoming the top boys runner in Massachusetts.
