The Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Extell Development Company and Hilton, has announced the development of a new luxury resort in Deer Valley East Village, Utah. Scheduled to open in 2028, the Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley Resort and Residences will be a ski-in, ski-out facility located in the newly developed Deer Valley East Village. This marks the first major public alpine ski resort development in North America in over four decades. The resort will feature 132 hotel rooms and 105 branded residences, offering a range of amenities including a state-of-the-art spa, fitness centers, and multiple dining options.
