Vertical Aerospace, a global aerospace and technology company, has announced a significant achievement in the field of electric aviation. The company successfully completed a piloted thrustborne transition with its full-scale electric Vertical Take-Off
and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. This transition involves the aircraft taking off vertically like a helicopter and then seamlessly transitioning into wingborne flight like a fixed-wing aircraft. The test flight was conducted at Vertical's Flight Test Centre at Cotswold Airport, marking a pivotal step in the company's development of advanced air mobility solutions.
