Inmarsat Maritime, a division of Viasat Communication Services, is set to install its NexusWave connectivity solution across the fleet of Auerbach, a German shipping company. This initiative is part of Auerbach's fleet renewal program aimed at modernizing its project cargo transport services. The new 'ECO' multipurpose vessels, being constructed by Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard in China, are designed to meet high standards of cargo handling and fuel efficiency. NexusWave will provide these vessels with high-speed, unlimited data connectivity, crucial for supporting the data-intensive technologies and regulatory compliance required by modern ship operations.
