What's Happening?
Lily's Toaster Grills has announced the addition of frozen quesadillas to its product lineup, available in two varieties: chicken and four cheese, and four cheese. The chicken and four cheese quesadilla includes a blend of Monterey Jack, asadero, mild
cheddar, and quesadilla cheese, offering 12 grams of protein per serving. The four cheese variety contains the same cheese blend and provides 9 grams of protein per serving. According to Rob Hearne, CEO of Lily's Toaster Grills, the new quesadillas align with the company's vision of bringing homemade-quality comfort food to the freezer aisle. The products are designed to be crispy, cheesy, and craveable, and can be prepared using a toaster or air fryer.
Why It's Important?
The expansion of Lily's Toaster Grills' product line reflects the growing consumer demand for convenient, high-quality frozen food options. As more consumers seek quick and easy meal solutions, the introduction of frozen quesadillas caters to this trend, offering a homemade taste experience with the convenience of modern cooking appliances. This move could strengthen Lily's position in the competitive frozen food market, attracting customers who value both taste and convenience. The focus on protein-rich options also aligns with current dietary trends, potentially broadening the brand's appeal to health-conscious consumers.
