Robinson Helicopter Company has announced the creation of Robinson Unmanned, a new business unit focused on developing and supporting a range of remotely piloted and autonomous aircraft. This strategic

The new division will cater to civil, commercial, and defense sectors, integrating small UAS from subsidiary Ascent AeroSystems with larger uncrewed platforms based on existing R44 and R66 airframes. These platforms are enhanced through partnerships with Rotor Technologies and Sikorsky Helicopters. Paul Fermo, the current president of Ascent AeroSystems, will lead Robinson Unmanned.
