Disney+ has announced an expansion of its partnership with the Korea eSports Association (KeSPA) to livestream major Korean and pan-Asian esports competitions. This expanded collaboration will kick off with the Esports Championships Asia Jinju 2026, a three-day
tournament in Jinju, South Korea, featuring national teams from South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Mongolia. The competition will include popular titles such as Street Fighter 6, The King of Fighters XV, Tekken 8, and PUBG Mobile. Disney+ will broadcast the event live worldwide, with ESPN branding featured throughout. This event serves as a precursor to the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, where esports will be a full medal sport for the second time in history.
