What's Happening?
Legacy Minerals has secured two new drilling approvals from the state government for its Mt Carrington Project in New South Wales. The approvals cover eight additional holes at the Mascotte silver-gold prospect and eight diamond drill holes at the Emu
copper-gold prospect. The drilling aims to explore structural and geochemical extensions and test the Emu porphyry core. This follows a Scoping Study highlighting the project's financial viability. Legacy is focused on gold, silver, and copper exploration, with phase one drilling already completed and assays pending.
Why It's Important?
These approvals are significant for Legacy Minerals as they enhance the company's exploration capabilities, potentially leading to new mineral discoveries. The Mt Carrington Project's development could contribute to the local economy through job creation and increased mining activity. Successful exploration may also boost Legacy's market value and attract investment. The project's progress is crucial for stakeholders, including investors and local communities, who stand to benefit from its economic impact.
