Vanderbilt University's women's basketball team has announced the addition of Vee Atamah, a transfer from Northwestern State. Atamah, who was named the 2026 Southland Conference Player of the Year, brings significant talent to the Commodores. During the 2025-26
season, she averaged 19.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, showcasing her scoring ability and versatility. At 6 feet tall, Atamah adds much-needed size to Vanderbilt's perimeter, a position that lacked depth following the departure of two players, Ava Black and Aga Makurat, to Penn State and Florida State, respectively.
