Why It's Important?
These grants are crucial for the growth and sustainability of Vermont's agricultural and forestry sectors. By supporting local businesses, the grants help increase sales and efficiency, thereby strengthening the state's economy. The funding also aims to make Vermont more affordable and bolster rural communities. As the demand for these grants far exceeds the available funds, it highlights the need for continued investment in these sectors to ensure their viability and competitiveness in the market.
