Orange has completed the acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in MasOrange, previously held by its joint venture partner Lorca, for €4.25 billion. This transaction, which received necessary approvals including from the European Commission, allows Orange to
fully consolidate MasOrange's results into its financial statements. MasOrange, a leading operator in Spain with 26 million mobile and 7.1 million fixed broadband customers, is known for its advanced fiber and 5G infrastructure. The acquisition is part of Orange's 'Trust the future' plan, aimed at enhancing its industrial, operational, and commercial synergies in Spain, its second-largest market in Europe.
