Eagle Nuclear Energy has commenced a comprehensive environmental baseline study at its Aurora uranium project located on the Oregon-Nevada border. This initiative is part of the preparations for a planned 27,000-foot drill campaign associated with a prefeasibility
study (PFS). The study will encompass various environmental aspects, including hydrology, groundwater, wetlands, meteorology, and cultural studies, to support future permitting and mine design. The company has engaged SLR International Corporation to install a meteorological station to collect ambient weather data, which will aid in air quality permitting. Additionally, archaeological consultancy Native-X will conduct cultural and archaeological studies to identify any historical or cultural resources in the project area.
