The project stems from BuzzFeed's previous AI experiments, which included games and chatbots, and seeks to create new social experiences rather than inundating the internet with content. The first apps, Conjure and BF Island, offer unique interactive experiences, while Quiz Party revives BuzzFeed's classic quizzes in a shared environment. The overarching goal is to leverage AI to enhance community, culture, and taste online.
