Christophe Beck, Ecolab's chairman and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, highlighting the innovation and expertise that Ovivo brings to Ecolab's Global Water business. The electronics business will continue to operate under the name Ovivo, Ultrapure Water+ by Ecolab, and will remain headquartered near Basel, Switzerland.
