What's Happening?
BLACKPINK has partnered with the National Museum of Korea to celebrate the release of their new EP, 'DEADLINE'. The museum, known as the most-visited in South Korea, will feature a special installation from February 26 to March 8, with its exterior illuminated
in BLACKPINK's signature pink. Inside, a dedicated listening zone has been set up, integrating projection mapping with the museum's architecture. This project coincides with BLACKPINK's return to group activities after solo ventures and follows their successful world tour.
Why It's Important?
This collaboration highlights the intersection of pop culture and heritage, showcasing BLACKPINK's influence in both music and cultural spaces. It underscores the global reach of K-pop and its ability to engage with diverse audiences. For the museum, this partnership could attract a younger demographic, increasing visitor numbers and enhancing cultural engagement. For BLACKPINK, it reinforces their status as cultural icons and pioneers in innovative music promotion.
