What's Happening?
The Balloon Museum, known for its traveling inflatable art exhibitions, is set to open a permanent location in New York City at the historic Tin Building in the Seaport District on July 15. The museum
will occupy a 58,000-square-foot space that previously housed Jean-Georges Vongerichten's food hall. The inaugural exhibition, 'Daydream: Air Becomes Art,' will feature site-specific works using air as a medium, with contributions from artists like Marina Abramović and Martin Creed. The exhibition aims to redefine the relationship between body, movement, and space through interactive installations that play with color, light, sound, and volume.
