the Sooners for the Class of 2027. Howell, known for his impressive performance in multiple sports at Broken Bow High School, was joined by Xavier Okwufulueze, a wide receiver who signed with Oklahoma in December but will join the team in June. Other notable prospects included Gage Gibbons, a wide receiver from Edmond, OK, and Cooper Hackett, a highly ranked offensive tackle from Fort Gibson, OK. Hackett, initially committed to Texas Tech, switched his commitment to Oklahoma in September. The Sooners' 2027 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 1 nationally, with 19 commits, including 11 four-star prospects.
