Polartec and Santini Cycling have collaborated to introduce a new cycling jersey made from recycled carbon polyester, aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The Aero Race jersey utilizes Polartec's Power Dry material, which is produced through a carbon capture
process that converts industrial CO2 emissions into high-performance recycled polyester yarns. This innovative approach intercepts carbon emissions before they are released into the atmosphere, transforming them into fibers that are 91% recycled carbon content. The jersey is designed for aerodynamic efficiency, featuring strategically placed panels and a specialized striped structure to optimize airflow. This marks the first commercial application of Polartec's recycled carbon fabric technology, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and high performance in athletic wear.
