several other offers, including UCLA, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, and Arkansas. Rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 14 quarterback in the class of 2027 by 247Sports, Nussmeier is known for his strong arm and potential as a Power Four starter. His junior season was marked by 1,390 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 278 rushing yards before a knee injury cut his season short.
