The Maritime Association of the Port of New York and New Jersey hosted its 32nd International Maritime Hall of Fame Awards at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The event, attended by nearly 500 industry leaders, honored four distinguished figures for their
contributions to the maritime sector. The awardees included Robert P. Burke, CEO of Ridgebury Tankers; James A. McNamara, Chief of Staff and Director of Public Relations at the International Longshoremen's Association; Captain John W. Murray, CEO of Port Canaveral; and Ted Tregurtha, President and CEO of Moran Holdings. These individuals were recognized for their leadership, innovation, and operational excellence, which have significantly impacted the maritime and transportation industries.
