What's Happening?
Aeroprobe Corporation has introduced the Millennium Micro Air Data Computer (μADC) at the XPONENTIAL 2026 event. This new product is part of Aeroprobe's fourth-generation lineup, designed for flight programs with strict size, weight, and power constraints.
The μADC is compact and lightweight, measuring 50 x 57 x 25 mm and weighing 75 grams. It is engineered for compatibility with Multi-function Air Data Probes, allowing for real-time measurement of Angle-of-Attack and Angle-of-Sideslip. This capability provides precise data for complex unmanned aerial maneuvers, enhancing flight control and efficiency.
Why It's Important?
The launch of the Millennium μADC represents a significant advancement in air data systems, particularly for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). By offering real-time flow state measurements, the μADC enhances the precision and safety of UAV operations. This development is crucial as the demand for UAVs grows across various sectors, including defense, agriculture, and logistics. Aeroprobe's innovation could lead to improved performance and broader adoption of UAV technology, influencing the future of unmanned systems and their applications.
