LSU sophomore catcher Cade Arrambide has been named the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Week by the College Baseball Foundation. Arrambide, hailing from Tomball, Texas, delivered an outstanding performance by batting .600 over three games,
hitting four home runs, and driving in eight runs. His efforts were pivotal in LSU's series victory against Tennessee, where he set a school record by hitting four home runs in a single game. This achievement also made him the fourth player in SEC history to accomplish such a feat. Arrambide's performance included a grand slam that contributed to a 10-run inning, securing a 16-6 win for LSU.
