What's Happening?
Babcock International has achieved a significant milestone in its Jackal 3 program with the production of the first all-terrain vehicles from the second tranche at its Devonport facility. In collaboration
with Supacat, Babcock is manufacturing 53 six-wheeled 'Extenda' variants, known as Jackal 3 (E), for the British Army. These vehicles are designed for versatility in reconnaissance, patrol, and logistics, offering enhanced load capacity and off-road performance. The program supports high-quality engineering jobs in the South-West and aligns with the UK Government's Defence Industrial Strategy.
