Mubi has acquired the rights to Na Hong-Jin's latest film, 'Hope', for several international territories including Latin America, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey. The film is set to premiere in competition at the Cannes Film Festival,
which runs from May 12 to 23. 'Hope' features a star-studded cast including Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton. The film is produced by Na's production company, Forged Films, and Plus M Entertainment, which is also handling international sales. Neon holds the North American rights to the film. Na Hong-Jin is known for his previous works that have also been featured at Cannes, such as 'The Wailing' and 'The Chaser'.
