Rosewood Hotel Group has launched 'Rise to the Table,' a mentorship platform aimed at advancing women in the hospitality industry, particularly in leadership roles. The program addresses the gender imbalance in hospitality leadership, where only 7% of
top restaurants and bars are led by women. The inaugural cohort includes women from various hospitality sectors, focusing on beverage professionals. The program features a weeklong residency at Rosewood Hong Kong, followed by a 12-month mentorship with senior Rosewood leaders. The initiative aims to create a self-sustaining network that supports women in overcoming barriers to leadership, such as lack of access to sponsors and strategic skills.
