Columbia College Chicago recently hosted its second annual 'Unity Ball' on May 8, 2026, at the Haus located at 623 S. Wabash Ave. The event, organized by the Student Government Association in collaboration with the Student Diversity and Inclusion office,
marked the conclusion of the 'PRIDE in May' series. This year's 'Unity Ball' shifted its focus from the previous year's emphasis on runway and ballroom culture to a broader celebration of queer identities. The event featured a talent showcase with live music and dance performances by over 30 students, including singers, dancers, drag queens, and kings. The celebration aimed to highlight self-expression and the diverse identities within the queer community.
