Ahead of the upcoming MAR10 Day, Nintendo has hinted at a possible update to the Battle mode in Mario Kart World. A now-removed post about 'Mario Day' events included a screenshot showing an updated Battle mode icon featuring a Bob-omb. Currently, Mario Kart World includes
Balloon Battle and Coin Runners, and the return of Bob-omb Blast would align with the series' tradition. Although there has been no official announcement regarding new Battle modes for Mario Kart on Switch 2, the gaming community is eagerly anticipating further updates. Additionally, Nintendo has announced a game sale for Mario Day and plans to add more Mario games to its Switch Online retro library.
