What's Happening?
ADAMA India has introduced BAZAK®, a new pesticide designed to protect rice crops from the Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), a pest that can cause significant yield losses. BAZAK® is positioned as a preventive
solution, applied before pest pressure escalates, offering a reliable line of defense for rice growers. The product combines Pymetrozine and Dinotefuran, providing complementary modes of action, and features a patented Effervescent WDG Formulation for improved solubility and mixing consistency. Field trials across India have shown that BAZAK® effectively protects rice crops, with early feedback indicating high satisfaction among growers.
Why It's Important?
Rice is a staple crop in India, accounting for a significant portion of the country's food grain production. The introduction of BAZAK® is crucial for rice growers, as it addresses the challenges posed by BPH, a pest that can devastate crops and threaten livelihoods. By providing a preventive solution, BAZAK® helps ensure food security and economic stability for rural communities. The product's development highlights the importance of innovation in agriculture, particularly in creating solutions that are both effective and accessible to farmers. This advancement also underscores the role of agricultural technology in enhancing crop resilience and productivity.
