Eros Innovation has announced a significant investment of £265 million (approximately $355.2 million) in the United Kingdom, which will support a slate of 15 productions. This includes an AI remaster of the film 'Kochadaiiyaan,' originally starring Rajinikanth,
and a sequel to 'Tanu Weds Manu.' The company has also licensed a $1.7 billion cultural dataset to a new U.K. operation, which is part of their Large Cultural Model family. This model is trained on a vast collection of Indian cinema, comprising 1.5 trillion rights-cleared tokens from 11,000 films and 100,000 characters. The announcement was made during London Tech Week, highlighting Eros Innovation's commitment to leveraging AI in film production.
