Muon Space has introduced a new satellite bus, the Condor-Ultra, designed to meet the increasing demands of the space industry. This new platform is three times larger than its predecessor, the Condor-XL, and is aimed at the emerging orbital-data-center
market. The Condor-Ultra is capable of delivering 20 kW of power, with future variants potentially offering up to 100 kW. It can host at least 18 square meters of payload, with a total capacity of approximately 400 kg. The satellite bus is equipped with SpaceX Starlink's laser-comms terminals, enabling 100 Gbps intersatellite link networking and 25 Gbps always-on connectivity. Muon Space plans to deliver the first Condor-Ultra pathfinder spacecraft to customers by 2028, with deployment capabilities from SpaceX's Starship and other medium-lift launchers.
