Citi has announced the appointment of Soonwook Kwon as the head of markets sales for Korea. Kwon, who brings over two decades of experience in financial markets, previously held senior positions at UBS and Credit Suisse. In his new role, Kwon will oversee market sales operations, connecting Korean investors with global markets and facilitating international client access to the Korean market. He will be based in Seoul and report to Cecile Garmbardella, head of markets sales for APAC, and David Um, head of markets in Korea.
