Ariana Johnson, a social worker and mental health advocate, is making significant strides in promoting representation and community building within the plus size fashion industry. As the reigning Ms. Ohio American Beauties Plus 2025-2026, Johnson uses
her platform to advocate for issues such as Black Maternal Health, Mental Health, and Gun Control. Her journey began in the court system in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was inspired by social workers to pursue a career in social work. Johnson returned to school to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Work, driven by a desire to make a difference in people's lives. In addition to her advocacy work, she has ventured into modeling to celebrate and represent plus size women in fashion. Johnson's efforts are not just about personal visibility but about ensuring that other women see themselves represented and know they belong.
