What's Happening?
Nine original cast members of the Broadway musical 'The Outsiders' are set to leave the production in March, as announced by the producers. The musical, which is based on S.E. Hinton's novel and Francis Ford Coppola's film, began previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on March 16, 2024, and officially opened on April 11 of the same year. The departing cast includes Tilly Evans-Krueger, Sky Lakota-Lynch, Trevor Wayne, Brent Comer, Jason Schmidt, Kevin William Paul, Renni Anthony Magee, SarahGrace Mariani, and Melody Rose. Alex Joseph Grayson, who joined the cast in February 2025, will also leave in March. The musical features a book by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival and Justin Levine, choreography by Rick
Kuperman & Jeff Kuperman, and direction by Danya Taymor.
