Squingle Arcade, a new mixed reality (MR) and virtual reality (VR) puzzle game, has opened its first public playtest. The game, developed as a faster-paced evolution of the original Squingle, invites players
to guide orbs of light through complex three-dimensional mazes. The playtest runs from April 16 to April 26, allowing players to experience the game's psychedelic and vibrant aesthetic. Influenced by games like Tetris Effect and Kururin, Squingle Arcade offers a unique visual identity and gameplay experience. Players can participate in races, time attacks, and compete on leaderboards, aiming to complete puzzles in the shortest time possible. The game is available for play on Quest 3/3S and supports all major Meta Quest devices and SteamVR.
