The Sun Belt Conference has unveiled the seedings and matchups for the 2026 Visit Pensacola Sun Belt Men's Basketball Championship, presented by the Air Force Reserve. The tournament will be held from March 3-9 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola,
Florida. Troy University, having secured the regular season championship with a 20-11 overall record and 12-6 in conference play, is the No. 1 seed. This marks Troy's consecutive title win, following their shared championship last year. The tournament format, revised before the 2024-25 season, grants byes to the semifinals for the top two seeds, Troy and Marshall. Coastal Carolina and App State, seeded third and fourth respectively, receive byes to the quarterfinals. The tournament will feature all 14 Sun Belt institutions in a single-elimination format, with games broadcast on ESPN+ and the championship game on ESPN2.
