What's Happening?
The Grand Traverse Kennel Club held a dog show on June 13, 2026, in Traverse City, Michigan. The event featured a total of 335 entries, with various breeds competing for top honors. The Best in Show was awarded to a Shetland Sheepdog named GCHS Laureate
Ode To Joy, handled by Pete Adrian Culumovic and owned by K Aston & P Culumovic. The Reserve Best in Show went to a Wire Fox Terrier named GCHB Foxheart’s I Won’t Back Down, handled by Doug Belter. The event showcased a wide range of breeds, including Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Irish Wolfhounds, and Whippets, judged by Ms. Karen Hynek.
