IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new Crowne Plaza hotel in Saigon Binh Duong, Vietnam, as part of a two-hotel agreement with Meraki Land, a prominent real estate developer. The Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong is scheduled to open in 2029
and will feature 221 rooms. Located in Thuan An, Binh Duong province, the hotel will be part of a mixed-use development that includes commercial, retail, and high-end branded residences. This development is positioned to become a premium lifestyle hub in one of Vietnam's largest industrial centers, which hosts numerous multinational companies.

The signing of the Crowne Plaza Saigon Binh Duong marks a significant expansion of IHG's presence in Vietnam's premium hotel segment. The strategic location in Binh Duong, a major industrial area, is expected to attract both domestic and international business travelers. This expansion aligns with IHG's growth strategy in Vietnam, where it currently operates 24 hotels and has 19 more in development.
