Big Shot Pictures, a studio launched by former Paramount co-CEO Brian Robbins, is developing an anime series based on the popular YouTube creator and streamer IShowSpeed. The series will be created and written by Matt Owens, known for his work on 'One
Piece'. The project aims to blend the creator economy with family-friendly programming and the anime genre. IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., expressed excitement about the project, highlighting his love for anime. The series will feature an animated version of IShowSpeed and is expected to be marketed in the coming months. Big Shot Pictures, backed by $100 million in venture funding, has also acquired rights to the 'Eloise at the Plaza' book series, planning to expand the franchise.
