The price of Jet-A fuel in the United States has seen a significant increase, averaging $8.57 per gallon in May 2026. This marks a $2.09 rise compared to the same period last year, although it is a slight decrease of 6 cents from April. The Western Pacific
region experienced the largest monthly increase, with prices rising by 39 cents per gallon, while the Great Lakes region saw a decrease of 47 cents per gallon. These prices are full retail and include all taxes and fees, according to a survey conducted by the Aviation Research Group.
