High school students from Colorado had the opportunity to participate in the first home game of the Denver Summit FC at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. Among those selected were Grandview High School junior Allie Smith and her teammates Reisa Cox,
Paige Jasinowski, and Sophie Yates. These students were chosen to shag balls during the game, which marked a significant moment for women's soccer in Denver.
