What's Happening?
The third annual HBCU Band of the Year championship is set to take place in Atlanta, celebrating the nation's top marching bands. The event will feature the top two marching bands from both Division I
and Division II, as well as Metro Atlanta high school bands. These bands have qualified based on their weekly halftime performances, which were evaluated by a committee of experts. The Division I final will see FAMU's Marching 100 compete against Southern University's Human Jukebox, while in Division II, Miles College's Purple Marching Machine will defend their 2024 title against Fayetteville State's Bronco Xpress. The championship will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+.
