What's Happening?
Fincantieri has secured an order from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. to construct three next-generation cruise ships. These vessels will be built for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, each as a sister ship to the most recent newbuilds by Fincantieri. The ships will be constructed at Fincantieri's Italian shipyards, with deliveries expected between 2036 and 2037. The new ships will feature technological innovations, comfort, and environmental sustainability features, with gross tonnages ranging from 77,000 to 227,000 tons.
