Mercedes-Benz has reintroduced its electric vehicle (EV) lineup to the U.S. market after a significant drop in sales and a temporary halt in production. In 2025, the company's EV sales in the U.S. fell
by 54% compared to the previous year, prompting Mercedes to pull most of its EQ sedans and SUVs from U.S. production. This decision coincided with the end of federal EV incentives, making it difficult for dealers and buyers to access models like the EQE and EQS. However, Mercedes has now confirmed that the full EQ lineup, including the EQE Sedan, EQE SUV, EQS Sedan, and EQS SUV, is available again. Prices for these models remain largely unchanged, with the EQE Sedan and SUV starting at $64,950, and the EQS SUV and Sedan priced at $89,950 and $104,400, respectively. Additionally, Mercedes has introduced a new, more affordable EV model, the CLA with EQ Technology, starting at $47,250.
