Castello Sgr, a prominent asset management company specializing in real estate investments, has acquired the Calampiso Resort located between Trapani and Palermo in Sicily. The resort, which spans over 150,000 square meters and includes more than 250 apartments and rooms, is set to undergo a significant redevelopment. This project, with an investment of approximately €100 million, aims to transform the property into an ultra-luxury hospitality destination. The redevelopment will include both internal and external enhancements, alongside a new branding strategy in collaboration with a leading international hotel operator. The resort, which features numerous facilities such as restaurants, swimming pools, sports fields, and a conference center,
is scheduled to open to the public in 2029. This acquisition marks Castello Sgr's first investment in Sicily, following previous projects in Pognana Lario and Dolonne.
