Despite significant revenue growth in fiscal year 2026, driven by expanding enterprise and Smart Life businesses and converting strategic data centers into real estate investment trusts (REITs), profitability declined due to a decrease in Docomo’s consumer EBITDA and rising labor costs. NTT achieved operating revenue of JPY14.41 trillion, a 5.1% increase from the previous year, with EBITA increasing by 5.7% and operating profit by 3.4%. The company plans to maintain its cash generation capacity by securing stable profits from its domestic telecom business through AI-driven operational transformation and strengthening customer engagement.
