What's Happening?
Maison Kitsuné and Bonpoint have teamed up to create a preppy capsule collection for children, titled 'Cherry Planning.' This collaboration blends Bonpoint's expertise in luxury childrenswear with Maison Kitsuné's graphic and cultural influences. The
collection includes striped shirts, shirtdresses, workwear jackets, gabardine shorts, and skirts, along with playful accessories like caps and belt bags. Inspired by cherry blossom season and the symbolic ties between Paris and Tokyo, the collection features cherry and fox motifs. The capsule will be available in Bonpoint and Maison Kitsuné boutiques and online starting March 31, with prices ranging from 45 to 245 euros.
Why It's Important?
This collaboration marks a strategic move for both brands to expand their reach and appeal to new generations of customers. For Maison Kitsuné, it represents an effort to refine its fashion positioning and reinforce its lifestyle brand, which spans fashion, cafes, and music. For Bonpoint, the partnership is an opportunity to refresh its heritage codes while maintaining its commitment to quality childrenswear. The collection's launch during Paris Fashion Week underscores its significance in the fashion industry, potentially attracting attention from fashion-forward parents and expanding the brands' customer base.
